Almaty is the city I was born and grew up! It has beautiful parts! But the most beauty can be found beyond the city limits: lakes and mountains are breathtaking!

Lol I don’t like Borat at all, seems a lot of locals feel the same way. The city is so interesting, the mountains and lakes stunning. Want to go back in summer

The movie has little to do with the place, first Borat movie the locals hated it, the second movie they have comw to embrace it
