I love Las Vegas, the MGM Grand on Memorial Day dancing with thousands of people as Tiesto spins his tunes. Heading past Caesers Palace as the sunsets and the evening starts to pump. Fremont Street with its Neon Lights and beautiful tackiness as people roam up and down drinking Hurricanes. And when the night is done return to where I love to stay, the pretty and pink Flamingo casino. Hopefully will get back there in a few years or so
It’s easy to get lost driving through the American Desert, and sometimes there are “signs” of life in places forgot. Aliens in Area 51, The Thrift store on Coachella Ave Salt on Sea. An “Allsup” at a gas station outside of Rosewell. And of course Last Vegas casinos that are long dead and buried.
I love a good road trip
Funny how things change overtime, this time last year I was driving the Manly Ferry… now content to watch it cruise by.
If you haven’t done it in a while or ever, check out Camp Cove and the north part of the Harbour, put you’d feet up then enjoy a beer.
Remember parties? Well they don’t get bigger than Carnaval do Rio de Janeiro. So as 2020 draws to a close it’s onto the future where we can all meet and party again, both new friends and old.
Out of all the places in the USA the one I love mostest is Portland Oregon. With your amazing live music (love you Dandy Warhol’s), Mac and Cheese via the Timbers, sniffing the roses, getting a tattoo at Atlas, hiking the forest, pigging out at Voodoo donuts, denim vintage shopping on Hawthorne, and days end buffalo wings at a micro brewery. There is so much more. Thank you Portland and and see you again one day. If you need adventure meet me there, will be so much fun 🙂
