Craters On the Moon Idaho
If you have heard of this National Park you're one up on me. Cruising down a seemingly endless highway I can across this National Park, and old exploded volcano with fissures, thousands of rocks and a lot of plant live, both alive and dead. It's a strange arid moonlike landscape.
Yellowstone Waterfalls
I've been to Yellowstone a few times previously, coming in through the Northern Beartooth Entrance which is now inaccessible due to flooding. This trip I drove through the Eastern Entrance, passing the Smith Mansion, Lakes and the spectacular Upper and Lower Falls, wow.
Devils Tower Wyoming
Headed out of South Dakota passed the geographic centre of the United States and onto the Devil's Tower. America's oldest National Monument unfortunately I couldn't get a rock climbing pass so walked around it instead. The woods are full of aliens as detailed in Stephen Spielberg's documentary "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".
