I don’t know whether it’s genuinely eerie or if it’s Stephen Spielberg’s classic movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” but there is something strange about the the Devil’s Tower. It sits alone in a flat landscape and when I went there I only had prairie dogs for company.
Hey this is a collection of my experiences βRoamingβ our planet including both blogging and photography. I have traveled to over 80 countries or so and intend to see more once Covid is over.
Any questions or feedback are always welcome

I’ve heard of this site in passing, but in any case, it looks like the wonder to be had! Only ever been to the Grand Tetons/Yellowstone in Wyoming, and I hope to explore more someday. π
We were on a road trip in that region some years back when I saw it marked on a map … I didn’t even know it was a real landmark. I was so excited!!! I love that movie.

It’s kind of distant from everywhere, I think the closest signicant landmark is My Rushmore

Nice pics, I have always thought it looks a bit out of place. Have to say the movie does give it an extra edge of weird though π
