One of the more unique (and less known I suggest) is Mesa Verde National Park. The ancient home of the Pueblo Indians these houses were carved out some time in the 1190s.

That’s so beautiful. It reminds me of Paronella Park in North Queensland. Some guy just built castles in the middle of the rainforest!

So jealous! I was supposed to go there in October, but COVID’s still around, so the trip had to be cancelled. I’m dying to go to Mesa Verde some day, hopefully once the pandemic’s over! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Mesa Verde is a fascinating place to see; amazing how they created those dwellings and how they got in and out. I loved visiting there.

Same, didn’t know it was there till someone told me about it in the pub the night before. Glad I went to the pub, and the park

Agreed👍we have been to visit twice, and just the ride into and up on the plateau is worth the entrance fee. A stunning park.
