Local Beach – Maroubra to Malabar

Walked through the door to check out my local beach, or more so the hinterland surrounding it. I found some interesting things.

South Head of Maroubra
It’s like swirls of caramel ice cream
In between Maroubra and Malabar
Made myself a rock tower
Old World War 2 gun emplacement including tracks

  1. It looks like we’ll need to venture further south than Coogee next time we visit my daughter Helen in Manly! There’s just too much in and near Sydney to see, never mind the rest of the country. Thanks for making me feel like we missed out on something!!

    1. No worries, there are a few parks all worth visiting down to Botany Bay. I’d recently only found them as work has slowed down and have the time to check out the coast, it’s amazing stuff
