  1. Dave, I don’t think people realize how stunning the Dalmatian Coast is! I once drove from Sarajevo up to Pula in the 1990s for work & will never forget the breathtaking views of the Croatian coastline. Hope to go back some day!!

    1. I think you’re right, people are obsessed with the Greek Islands and don’t realise the sailing down the coast is amazing, loved Hvar and the islands. I want to go back and do it all again πŸ™‚

  2. My word I haven’t been to that part of the world since I was a poorly paid student nurse back in the early 1980’s and it was the only place we could afford to go at the time. I often wonder what it would be like to revisit sometime & was only looking at some photos taken back then recently when converting them into digital copies.

    1. I was there in 2008 so it’s an old photo. I’d say Dubrovnik now is very expensive or it was when I was there. The neighbouring Mostar in Bosnia however was very cheap. It’s an amazing and easy adventure now with plenty of hostels and bus services, and ferries of course for the islands πŸ™‚
