It is beyond imagination and such a tragedy. I read that in some areas people havenโt seen the sun for weeks on end. I am in tears on a daily basis feeling the pain of loosing so much habitat, so many animals, trees, plants, and humans. Of course, my thoughts are also always with all those who fight the fires risking their lives with hardly any pause since months and all those affected by the fires like you and your family.
Letโs at least hope something very good can come out of this catastrophe. Change towards a climate friendly and mindful global society reconnected to nature and each other. ๐ซ๐๐ซ
It looks like Kangaroo Island has lost half of its native animals. Thankfully it’s cooled down in NSW for a while though a Victorian neighbours are having issues. It’s all so tragic
I know. Terrible. It hurts so bad, especially, because Kangaroo Island seemed to be a little heaven for koalas.
Asking the universe for rains everyday and sending strength to those species to fight through this… Love to Oz ๐
I really sent my wishes for rain to the universe on a daily basis. Such a relief to see the rain pouring down in at least some regions. Fingers crossed it will be a regular guest now!
Awesome picture!

Thankfully the rain has come and will stick around for a while. Not sure it will be enough, still a long way to go through this summer
