I visited with my parents in the late 70s. Lots of tourists then but i’ve heard there are so many more now. The rain let up while we were on the ridge and i left my family and just laid back on the wamed sun stone and took in the views. Seemed logical to my 11 year old brain and at the time there was noone to yell me off. Even today i remember that half hour of remarkable peace.

I got up there early so there weren’t many about. I think it starts to pack out later when hikers start coming through. There is enough space to enjoy and spend some alone time, it’s amazing
